The 44th annual meeting of AK Klima will take place in Kassel for the first time. The Department of Environmental Meteorology at the University of Kassel invites you to the documenta city of Kassel from 22.10.2026 to 24.10.2026. The conference will run from Thursday, early afternoon, to Saturday noon (detailed program to be announced later).
With its central location, Kassel offers an ideal setting for scientific exchange and networking. The conference will take place at the conference hotel Steinernes Schweinchen.
The annual meeting is intended for participants who are conducting research on current topics in climatology and meteorology. Contributions can be submitted in German or English, in the form of presentations or posters - on current or completed projects from the following and other areas:
- Applied climatology
- Urban climatology
- Environmental meteorology
- Regional and topo-climatology
- Methods of climatology
- Climate change and climate dynamics
